Frankenstein as described by Matthew O

The knowledge that Victor Frankenstein sought was to create life. This is considered to be wrong and forbidden because creating life cannot be done by the hands of man alone. It is done by God and not by man. Dr. Frankenstein was agitated by his monster and a banded it. Creating and leaving was not worth it because the monster Dr. Victor Frankenstein created through his own hands murdered not only his brother, but his wife and family as well. Creating Life isn’t worth losing the life of the loved ones you care about.

“But soon he cried with sad and solemn enthusiasm “I shall die and what I now feel be no longer felt” -Victor Frankenstein

He says this because his creation caused the death of his loved ones. He no longer has the will to live.

A forbidden knowledge today is steroids in baseball. Jose Canseco was the “Victor Frankenstein” of baseball. Steroids are performance enhancing drugs that give baseball players more strength. They have been banned by Major League Baseball Canseco brought steroids into baseball and yet never entreated for mercy from baseball. Because of his betrayal to the game of baseball, he was basically banished by the teams because no other team has hired him since. Yet Canseco never fluctuates on his decision to use steroids. He basically says he has no regrets. Baseball has taken steps to bring resolution to the steroid problem caused by Canseco, so that it can become Forbidden Knowledge once again.
