nurturing us with all of your care

giving us pure water to drink

and clean air to breathe.

Yet we behave oh so carelessly

In the eyes of you we are just one of your wild children

giving us what you can we only make mess and waste

mother nature so kind to give us what she can

how long will mother nurture us at last

until she finally cannot no more
