Life in the Middle Ages - Henry C.

Dear Father,

I write this letter to inform you about my well being and what has been going on around. The town I live in; Constantinople, has had first sightings of the bubonic plague. I've heard terrible things about such disease as it comes with painful lumps and sores. Many people fear that this is a punishment from God and that for whatever sins they may have done they must repent. In the streets the disease seems to be spreading quickly, and so I've made a strong decision to leave town quickly seek refuge before the plague gets to me.

Your son,
Henry
